01 north bound and you should hop over to 280 as an alternate. you can consider the el camino as well. 1:00 p.m. is the estimated time for reopening. >> traffic or around the rest of the bay area is doing just fine here is a look at the bay bridge. it is been trouble-free and it is still less than 10 minutes. if you're heading out on 92 you're ride is looking pretty good. do keep in mind that if you are coming from 92 and marginal to 101 you do have this fatal accident to worry about. last but not least to head out to the golden gate bridge and it is a smooth ride. it will be about a 21 minute trip. >> a looks like we are seeing some clouds in the distant. temperatures are starting to warm and 37 degrees is for the layout. as we take aafternoon will be '7 is for the south bay. there are warmer conditions compared to yesterday. it is very similar in the east bay and it is 68 for castro valley. danville and the north bay is on to be at 70's. it looks like berkeley will come in and 67 degrees. satellite radar shows clear conditions in the bay area so we will see a dry pattern. >> saturda

is trying to find shelter for an el sobrante family after fire damaged their home. the attic fire sent one firefighter to the hospital with minor injuries. residents inside smelled smoke before the alarm went off. the fire caused at least $80,000 in damage. >>> right now pg&e crews are working to fully restore power at san francisco's city hall. last night a small fire in the electrical room in the basement triggered the smoke alarms and formed the evacuation of the about. the fire department tells us there's just minor damage to the electrical room and they aren't sure how it started. city hall should be open for business as usual today. >>> sierra lamar's accused killer faces new charges this morning. 21-year-old antolin garcia torres was been charged with trying to kidnap three other victims during three cam,ing in 2009. lamar disappeared in march of this year. torres was arrested in may for her kidnapping and murder even though lamar's body has not been found. >>> we are getting a look at two men suspected of kidnapping a woman and driving her from atm to atm in the east bay. walnut cr

pass all the way over to el charo and eastbound from the dublin interchange all the way over starting at about 10:00 a.m. that lasted into the afternoon hours. folks were heading to the new outlets, hundreds of stores there, and that was causing a big backup. likely again today since wee heading into the weekend. meanwhile a typical commute for the morning right now. a nice, easy drive through sunol as well but there may be clouds and fog developing right there past the golf course. a live look outside to see how things are shaping up. this is palo alto 101 north past university avenue. an easy drive. the peninsula, not a problem for 101 or 280. 880 moves smoothly as you're coming southbound with these headlights. that is building a bit heading out of union city. the northbound side moves smoothly through oakland and of course at the bay bridge toll plaza where the metering lights are on but the sunlight coming up too. that's a beautiful sunrise. ignore the backup at the toll plaza. back to you guys. >> thank you very much. >> don't be distracted by all that traffic. >>> 6:10. coming

're not seeing la nina or el nina. it's a la nada. so we're kind of bouncing between fluctuation patterns so we are not sure what we are going to expect as we head into the winter. things locked up. we have a trough along the west coast, we get a lot of rain. right now we have showers. you can see some of the scattered light showers continuing mainly in the north bay right now although we have seen some drizzle out along the immediate coastline but the showers have been sporadic and on and off throughout the night in much of the north bay so expect it to be wet there and continue to do so throughout the day. in fact, if you are heading out the door, we have some drizzle at the coastline. cloudy skies and windy in spots so watch out for that and the showers continuing to the north. by the afternoon, the rain will be on the increase especially in the north bay but starting to slide further south. this is a really slow-moving storm. temperatures not too bad mainly into the 60s. you will see all the clouds, a lot of warm frontal moisture sliding through the bay area but the cold front still well to

-old woman and they el us it's not the first time she's been arrested for dui. she ended up crashing her car here at 17th and van ness where she also took out a signal box, which is one reason they have flares set up in the streets because the lights are still out as the city of san francisco tries to fix the mess that she allegedly created. her first collision during this chase throughout the city took place not far from her, 15th and natoma where she hit a bicyclist. he was next to a car that she ran into. that car hit him and he was taken to the hospital as a precaution, minor injuries. now, chp tried to full over serena barrows around 2:00 this morning as she was trying to get on the 4th street on-ramp to the bay bridge. that on-ramp was shut down at the time. chp tell us she took off. they had a chase throughout the city on 101 and local streets, never going faster than 55 miles an hour. along the way she hit the car that hit the bicyclist and she ended up here sideswiping this truck. she is under arrest and faces a few charges, felony dui, felony hit and run and there's an enhancement
